“CoopEco System,” “we,” or “us” refers to the Coop-related corporate entities listed in Section 13. This Privacy Policy applies uniformly across all Coop sites, mobile apps, APIs, and connected services.

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you visit or use any Coop service (collectively, the “Services”). It forms part of each platform’s Terms & Conditions.

5. Sharing & disclosure
We share personal data only as necessary with: (i) payment processors and KYC providers; (ii) vetted service vendors such as cloud hosts, email delivery, and analytics (aggregated or hashed where possible); (iii) other members via the on‑chain ledger (wallet addresses and Contribution amounts are public by design); (iv) regulators or law‑enforcement agencies when legally compelled; (v) parties to a corporate merger, acquisition, or re‑organisation (you will be notified). We never sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Data may be stored or processed in Canada, the United States, or the European Union. When personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction or the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

8. Security

We use first‑party cookies for session management and authentication, and third‑party cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) for aggregated usage statistics. You can control cookies via your browser settings; rejecting cookies may limit functionality.
10. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, object, and port your personal data, opt out of marketing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email legal@cooplegals.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.
11. Third‑party links
Our Services may link to external websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content. Review their policies before providing personal data.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced via in‑dashboard banner and email at least 72 hours before taking effect. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the current version.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms—and any dispute or claim arising from them or the Services—are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Barbados.
You and the Coop irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados for the settlement of any dispute or claim.
